Yes, syslog lines are often truncated, but I wasn't relying on the boot
options line; when you're using DEBCONF_DEBUG=developer or equivalent,
as you are, I would be able to see the debconf transactions involved in
actually applying the preseeding, and they're simply not there.

  passwd/user-fullname not accepting preseed answer

Status in “orchestra” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Preseeding Precise Alternate ISOs halt on the passwd/user-fullname
  question even though its provided in the preseed.  All the preceding
  Critical questions are working fine.

  I've attached the syslog and the preseed file.
