Hi everyone.

Here on the US East cost, we're expecting our 17-year cicada species to
annoy us again this year by the millions. I know they can damage young
trees during their breeding process. I don't know, however, what they
do to other plants (if anything). Some friends and I would like some
sagely advice on if it is safe to put plants outside during this period.
Among us we have an array of orchids, bromeliads, cacti, and other
tropicals.

Thanks in advance.
