This was probably meant to be xanthoglossa; if so it implies that the flower has a yellow lip. It's often used as a horticultural indication - a variety or cultivar rather than a real part of the scientific name. Many S. coccinea clones have an orangey or even partly yellow lip rather than red. Perhaps yours is a particularly outstanding yellow-lipped clone.
