Problem with bush snails.
their is several product you can use but most have been taken off the
markett

Mesurol and the Bayersol blue snail bait crushed and spread over the
potting mix surface has worked for me in the past.
I no longer get this problem now as with all suspect bark (Potting mix) I
soak it in very warm to hot water for an hour or so.
When cooled down I use it then now no problem with snails.
I have found when bark is stored in douthfull places the small garlic snails
love to invade the mix.
quarintine all new plants untill you repot them. This also will help prevent
reinfestation.

You have bush snails. They will eat the roots but that is probably not what
is eating your flowers. Look for thrips or slugs.
The only thing that will reliably kill bush snails is Mesurol. I don't know
if it is sold in Australia. Ask in your nearest garden center or get hold of
a
certified pesticide applicator.
