Does anyone know of famous people, current or historic, who has/had an interest in orchids?
The following come to mind:
Erastus Corning, the mayor of Albany.
Charles Steinmetz, one of the founders of General Electric.
Raymond Burr, movie & TV actor who played Perry Mason. He owned an orchid nursery & registered several hybrids.
Nero Wolfe ;-) (actually, reading the books demonstrates that Rex Stout knew very little about orchids)
