Howdy. Can someone give me a better understanding of why so relatively few orchids are imported from Mexico? I'm not referring to species, but referring to why there are so few hybird orchid farms in Mexico, and even fewer that export to the U.S. I see a lot of other countries from much farther away in South America being much better represented as orchid exporters to the U.S.A., but why? I'm guessing it has to do with trade restrictions on either side, or both sides, of the border. Thanks in advance for your input, either on-list, or off-list....
