Indeed, and it will be capped by the Central Ohio Orchid Society's Annual Show and Sale, March 25-26. This year we will be adding lectures in adjacent classrooms open to the public. Mornings, Nancy Wagener will present "How to buy your first orchid" and offer cultural advice to an audience of beginners. In the afternoons, Ken Mettler will present a visual program on "Native orchids of Ohio." Ken lives in the Hocking Hills area south of Columbus and has recorded some seven species of orchid on his 19 acres of woodland. We feel fortunate that our hosting venue is as avid about orchids as we are.
