Hello All: Has anyone on the list researched how or if ,the coming deluge of LED "light engines",high brightness 1watt to 5watt LED emitter blocks, will effect the growing of orchids under lights? By increasing light out-put per watt. Or reducing heat out-put per lumen. Or more precise control of light frequency . The increases in this technology and large groupings of emitters presents a interesting prospect. It is unknown how fast the price of production will drop. And, I don't know if these claims are true. But it is coming. And I hoped someone here might know more about it.
