Hi All.
Question for those who have grown Sarcochilus hirticalcar from flasks
or from very small plants.
As it is a "popular belief" that they only seem to grow a vertical root
system on vertical timber in the wild!
Do they as small plants when mounted on a horizontal mount, send their
roots vertical searching for something to attach them selves to or do
they as "maybe do" in the wild.
Grown horizontally along branches as well.
I would hate to have taken all the trouble to mount a batch of seedling
on a vertical mount and to see all the roots system suddenly shoot skyward.
any suggestions would be appreciated as this is my first venture into
growing Sarcochilus hirticalcar.

Many thanks.
