I suspect that here is another case where the Kew Monocot Checklist is 
wrong.

Both these species (and 6 others) were transferred to the new genus Rodrigoa 
in Die Orchidee 30(1979):213-222 by Lothar Braas. In this article Braas 
provides excellent line drawings and both color and black and white 
pictures, which if accurate, show distinct differences between the two.

Carlyle Luer, in Icones Pleurothallidinarum XXVIII (2006):14, recognizes 
this genus and adds 4 more species to it. He also maintains the two species 
as separate and distinct taxons.

BTW I could not find the picture on your web site, so I could not compare it 
to the pictures and drawings in Die Orchidee.
