Growers often use a provisional name that is not published yet because it sounds better than Lycaste sp. Also it is not possible with CITIES to export an orchid without a proper scientific name. So it may be a way for Andrea Niessen to export the plant from Colombia. It could also be that the determination is so new that not one of the list makers have noticed it. It could also have been published in a publication that is not well known and monitored regularily. The best answer is to contact Andrea Niessen and ask her what the status of the name really is.
