Thanks Jay [Pfahl] for the report about your orchid trip to Colombia. The assertion that Roberto de Angulo is the direct descendant of Francisco de Angulo is interesting. When the genus Anguloa was named in his honour, in 1794, by Ruiz and Pavon, Francisco was Director General of Mines in Peru.
