In the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, World Checklist
the name Corybas mucronatus (Blume) Rchb.f.
is considered a synonym of
Corybas pictus (Blume) Rchb.f.

In the November 1993 issue of the American Orchid Society Bulletin, the
species Corybas pictus is mentioned :

"a small patch of heath forest or kerangas. We went especially to see
Corybas pictus, one of the helmet orchids, an orchid previously known only
from montane habitats, until John and Soejatmi Dransfield of Kew found it
growing here almost almost at sea level. On the first two visits to this
special area we foundonly the tiny leaves growing among the moss at the
base of tree trunks, but on the final day we found one flowering plant."
