Hello all,

We have at the moment 2 Laelias from Brazil in flower (
http://www.akerne-orchids.com/ogd/DSC_0215.JPG ).

Based on an article by Fowlie in the May-June Orchid Digest issue of 1980
and Withners "The Cattleyas and Their Relatives,- Volume II. The Laelias" I
believe that the plant on the left could be L. dayana (and then again maybe
not :-) ), and what about the plant on the right ?

To help you a measurement of the width of the flowers (both natural spread):

Plant on the left: 6 cm

Plant on the right: 9 cm

Can anybody help us in determining what we have ?

Kind regards,

Kenneth.
