The conservatory is 8,000-square-feet under five stories... glasshouse dedicated to the display of orchids and tropical plants. ... A $12.5 million capital campaign kicked off in 2003 to raise funding to begin the project. The garden began collecting orchids several years ago and its original collection of 500 plants has grown to include more than 2,000 orchids.
