I don't know about the Den speciosum in New York, but I was on the judging team which awarded a very high CCM to a plant of that species owned by Santa Barbara Orchid Estate in California. There is an AOS award slide of it and I'm sure SBOE has a picture of it. It was magnificent!! Bev
