I may have asked this before. I have Masd. tuerckheimii. It is the only
successful Masdevallia I've ever owned. It is very healthy and blooms very
reliably. Viateur said it comes from low altitudes. Only trouble is that the
flowers
hide under the leaves. Can anyone recommend a Masd. that is more showy but
likes the EXACT same conditions? It also has to tolerate hot summers outdoors,
with tapwater when it doesn't rain. Stelis cypripedioides and Rstp. brachypus
also do well for me, but are hardly spectacular.
