gnes,

If you can share with me your general location on the planet & a general organization
overview, through Organizational Development and Quality networks in which I am active
I will do some inquiry and should be able to provide you with some appropriate
contacts in your area to mentor you as you shepherd this process in your organization.

Please keep the following 3 thoughts in mind as you progress:

 - this is primarily about being able to provide artifacts to evidence expected
communications & activities have actually occurred. The focus is on the "what" not on
the "how". The "how tasks are performed" can be done in many ways (how the plumbing
gets done). The "what must be in evidence and verifiable as having been done" is
defined by the ISO standards. (~If the plumbing developer chose to plumb with copper
pipe, the pipe joints WERE soldered. If the plumbing developer instead chose to use
plastic pipe, solvent and cement WAS used. If threaded iron pipe was used, the joints
WERE tightened to a sufficient and consistent level of torque. ~The complete plumbing
system was pressure WAS tested for continuous and surge pressure. & etc. & etc. &
etc.). The heart of the matter rests on "Everything that was necessary and sufficient
actually happened, and WE CAN PROVE IT!".

 - gnes absolutely cannot/must not, be OR perceived to be, the one whose "job is to
develop my company's quality goals, and the methods, patents, etc.". That job
absolutely must be an organization-wide task that is the responsibility of the Senior
Management for implementing and that everyone has as part of their actual defined job
description . gnes can be the Program Manager, but any more responsibility than that
and the effort is doomed to failure from the start.

 - this goal is only the "generated" output of an "organic" process that must be
"grown" in such a manner that it persists over years in the organization. The
necessary supporting infrastructure and resources must be "built", but change has to
grow in people. The growth is rapid or slow, depending greatly upon how well the
ground-work is prepared and how well the growth is tended.

Good luck to you!
