Hi Fabio,

you have two choices:

1) if you want to keep on working in embedded mode you have to start a full
server from your application (
http://orientdb.com/docs/last/Embedded-Server.html)
2) if you have finished with embedded mode and you want to start running
client-server you can just copy the database folder in an orientdb server,
under /databases/ folder and then start that server
