The way I played the game with friends on the school yard oh ... 40 years ago ... We had a step between your 3 and 4, which was the person would pick one of the four numbers and the operator would flip flap that number. Another number pick and the operator would read the fortune under that number (one of 8 fortunes). The fortunes could be silly "your hair will turn green in two weeks" or semi-serious "you will marry a man with dark hair." But fairly generic. If you write small you could fit two different fortunes underneath each number. I used a fortune teller once in a classroom situation. The kids were learning the solar system. So, they had colors, then they put the planet names instead of numbers. Underneath each planet were two separate facts about the planet. They seemed to have fun. Dee >
