I had to put these tags around these SSI statements: <%/*><!--#include file="includes/jsrollovernav.html" --><*/%> <%@ include file="includes/jsrollovernav.html" %> Weblogic jsp ignored them without the funny tags. The idea would be to have dreamweaver ignore the jsp include and jsp ignore the dreamweaver (virtual) include. I don't mind the extra comment tags, it's just that the error messages from jsp were no help, had to comment out code until found. btw, jikes rocks
