We've been running Orion 0.9.1d and most recently 0.9.4 on RedHat 6.0 with
both Sun's JDK1.2.2 and Blackdown 1.2.2-RC4 on several systems without any
problems. I've played with a variety of JIT's as well to do some initial
performance testing and all of the JIT's seem to work. Most of our systems
are running either the 2.2.5 or 2.2.14 kernels, although my box is running
2.3.48. We've been satisfied with the stability on each of these boxes, at
least for development.

RedHat 6.1 and Suse 6.3 and both work OK (all just development yet no
production systems). Just ran into a nasty JVM bug with blackdown rc2 a
few
months ago but that's history now. So far we haven't had any other OS
related bugs.
