SV: Only one database connection used

Simon, I spoke to one of the orion guys and informed them of the problem. It seemed like it was new information to them. Sadly to say, I haven't received any more information as to if they are working on resolving it. If I switch to several java processes, I get as many connections open as I have processes running.
