No idea why this is happening, but for some reason, portions of our pages
are returning VERY slow. We go to a specific page, and most of it shows up
in the browser immediately. Then, the very bottom part which is a small form
using values stored in memory (not from the database), seems to take several
seconds to download. The spinning e in MSIE spins for several seconds, then
it shows up. This behavior does NOT happen on our local boxes and QA
machines..only on our production site. We have > T1 speed to our co-lo
facility, and users over the web are seeing the same affect on every page. I
checked the .jsp.java file produced by Orion and its small, only 46KB in
size, so I would love to know why on our production site only, does it seem
to add several seconds to rendering a page (or I should say..to get the
whole page from the server). We do not see this problem on JRun 3.0. We are
using Orion 1.5.2.
