All documentation contributions are very welcome. There's a skeleton framework for writing a user's guide using Docbook in the xdocs/manual. I'm not a fan of Wiki's, but some projects have been using the Wiki at http://nagoya.apache.org/wiki/apachewiki.cgi to develop rough drafts of documentation before incorporating them into the documentation tree in CVS.
