To honesty, ORO satisfied me:) It has enougth function and stability. Of course, performance is better than JDK1.4:) Well, I thought what I can do for ORO: (1)Current ORO provids only English message. But Xerces's regular expression library have localized messages for some language. I can add localized function and Japanese messages for ORO. It will makes easy to add other language also(I added localized message for JMeter in the past(*1)). (2)I'm a one of the maintainer for Ja-Jakarta's ORO site(*2). This page constructed with contents negotiation. You can see this site in English but we Japanese can see in Japanese. This page shows different page by browser's locale configuration. If you configure your browser for Japanese, you can see in Japanese. Current Jakarta page don't have such function. I hope you provide this function. If you agree, I would like to contribute this page. (3)I could become brigde for Japanese feed back. I read Ja-Jakarta mailing list. If users need new function and bug fix, I could take it and help ORO project. In the fact previous function is order from Ja-Jakarta. I don't know about Perl 5.8 regular expression and I may be not able to help for advance function.
