I took a little time to look over the uninstall scripts, and I have a couple suggested changes. In the end, it's up to each package maintainer I guess...
1) oda should ONLY remove oda 2) switcher should not remove tcl 3) perl-Qt should only remove perl-Qt (plus compat/5.6/mdk rpms) 4) opium should remove its main component, sync_users-oscar 5) autoupdate is a little more tricky... the clients should have autoupdate-client removed (as listed in the uninstall script), but the server only has autoupdate and autoupdate-oscar... perl-DB_File should NOT be removed 6) c3 should remove all the server packages as well... 7) the base package should not be removable, and even if it is for some reason, it shouldn't be removing ANYTHING 8) sis should be removing all the appropriate server RPMs 9) pbs should remove the -server and -gui RPMs from the server Jason ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
