yes, I ded so; but I try to make it in a long term perspective -
alienized RPM may suffice for tests, or even for a basis, but it won't
make packages go into Debian.

well, would you please explain me (or give me some pointers) how OSCAR
glue is working, from initial install 'til ODA use?  I can't really
figure out how it may help in Debian world (w/ packages DB already up,
etc); in particular, how does each of oscar/libs/{qt,tk,oscar}
interact w/ a running OSCAR cluster?

sure it would, but first we have to package each part of OSCAR, and
I'm curretly stalled against OSCAR GUIs and DB pieces.
