Ben,
Thanks for the reply. Are there updated instructions for using the tip of OSCAR development as opposed to OSCAR 3?

Hello Josh,
We have experimental (at this time ! Only one tester ;-) support for IA64 with the RHEL3.0 distribution. It _should_ support out of the box
recompilations of redhat too : whitebox linux (tested), tao linux, etc.
OSCAR 4.0 will be published for SC2004. If there is no more testing, support of IA64 will still be experimental waiting for more testers...

Hello,
I was looking into getting OSCAR running on SGI Altix systems (again) this week, but I am having some trouble finding information about OSCAR 4 development. Any help answering these questions, or better yet a pointer to an up-to-date source for this information (a roadmap wiki page?) would be greatly appreciated.
Is ia64 support planned? svn changelogs indicate that ia64 patches have been checked in lately, but I cannot find any sort of roadmap that indicates whether or not full ia64 support is in the works.
What distributions are being targeted by OSCAR 4? It seems as though Fedora Core 2 is the target - is there somewhere I can confirm this? Are there other distributions being targeted?
Is there any planned release timing for OSCAR 4?
Thanks for your time, and I look forward to working with the OSCAR project.
