More specifically, if we try to fix those bugs for 4.0, then 4.0 will never get out the door. They're important and need to be fixed... but in 4.1, not 4.0.

Hello,
I did a "bug review" of the existing bugs on sourceforge last monday so some/most of the OSCAR developers should have receive something to do.
Is it possible for other developpers to do the same and sign-in for bugs
that have no owner ?
Also, if you think that this is an important bug for the coming 4.0 release, please make sure to : 1 - Have this bug listed in the group "4.0" 2 - Raise the priority of the bug to "7"
Then the release manager will be able to promote your bug so that it can
be fixed in the branch-4-0 subversion branch. Otherwise, it will not
make it in the 4.0 release.
All the others bugs can be freely corrected (;-))) in the trunk of the subversion tree so happy bug hunting and happy coding !
