Hi Erich,
I think it must be SIS for client nodes to update the nics and nodes tables of oda.
Please, check the post_clients in oscar/packages/sis/scripts/ out and you can find two oda shortcuts,
create_node and delete_node, which insert, delete, and modify the records of node, nics, and related other tables of oda.
For the server node, I will let you know shortly ( I think it must be set_node_nics or install_server in oscar/scripts ).
Let me double check.
