should a stage file be defined for each supported distro?
I didn't know about that, then, yes, this could be causing this lasts problems (which, I would like to say again, appeared after r3060).
I take a look at the patches for fedora and red hat, but could not understand the complete logic of them. Benoit is comming back to town tomorrow. If someone of you would like to give me a hand on it, I could do a few tries today.

As I documented in the bug report, I noticed a stage file is not defined for MDK10. This could well be the root cause of the problem. Benoit knows how to define this, hopefully, he can help Fernando, as they have the systems available.
