Can you test his rpms Dave? I went ahead and upped bug 1167615 to a 9 but i've got no way to sanity check the fix.
I went ahead and cut a beta 4 without this fix included.

Having said that...
1) There are still outstanding fixes in svn that are not in the beta, and I at least am still waiting on info for an existing pri9 bug (Fernando and DongInn).
2) I would also like to see less items in the RHEL readme, especially w.r.t. ia64. If this is tested w/ RHEL3 on ia64, and it only impacts ia64, it's relatively low risk. The patch is clearly only relevant to ia64; the new RPMs need testing on all platforms.
