No Makefiles are ever generated from running autogen.sh. Makefiles are
only generated when you run configure.
Lots of distros include m4 files that do not quote things properly,
unfortunately. The URL cited explains the problem. But it should
still just be a warning (and has nothing to do with OSCAR).
