Right now this is just a mock-up - I'm not even sure if we want to include this in 5.0. Although I must add that it is actually more than a mock-up, as it actually works :P
I would say that development will be simultaneous for both this GUI and the portal. The oscar_manage GUI is currently using existing packages, i.e. I am not introducing new functionality (well besides the GUI). With respect to the "sis button" - that would be tksis, however if we just bring the tksis GUI up it may be confusing to the user as it offers functionality like create image which OSCAR provides as well. So we either have to strip it down or re-write it via API or something. Anybody want to take this on? I remember there used to be a java GUI for C3 floating around - is that project still alive? As for the Portal, I have created a drupal RPM already and hope to have a package soon.
