Can't we then move packman
out of "prereqs" into "packages" and make it a core OSCAR package to be
installed on the nodes too?
Is yume not sufficient for
the operations on the client?

Yume is both: a prereq and a package. It gets installed on
clients, too. For
package management purposes. In fact the question is how to
get packman also
to the
clients.
