Now that yum is fully integrated for our package installation, I was wondering if it would make sense to start using the groups meta-data from comps.xml when building an image instead of hardcoding packages in the rpmlist.  This actually makes it much simplier when supporting newer versions of distributions and can also make it very easy to build a "base" image.  One question I have is would this work for Mandriva as well?

What do you guys think?

Cheers,

Bernard
