Perl-XML-Simple is a prereq in share/prereqs/perl-XML-Simple/, it should be installed automatically prior to bringing up the system.
 
Can you post your oscarinstall.log?  Also, cranking up verbosity should give you more info about what's wrong:
 
export OSCAR_VERBOSE=5
 
BTW, what OS/architecture?
 
It's possible you're running on a system without RPM in the share/prereqs/perl-XML-Simple/distro directory, in which case you need to rebuild it.

I am trying to install the 20060427 OSCAR 5 nightly and get the following error when running install_cluster:

Can’t locate XML/Simple.pm in @NIC

 

Has anyone run into this before?
