Hi Mohsen:

Thanks for working on this.

A few comments:

- You probably want to name the directory "fc4-x86_64" since they are specifically built on Fedora Core 4
- What error message did you get with ganglia-web?
- I would recommend you work off a SVN checkout, packages are constantly being upgraded so it is important that you are using the latest SRPM, for instance, TORQUE has been updated to 2.0.0p8-2 and Ganglia has been updated to 3.0.3.

Cheers,

Bernard

Hello all,

Hello Mohsen,

I completed step 3 ( install oscar server packages):

1. Installed perl-Qt-3.009b2-2.x86_64.rpm from share/prereqs/perl-Qt/distro/fc3
2. Rebuilt torque-2.0.0p8-1.src.rpm and moved 5 rpms to packages/torque/distro/fc-x86_64
3. Replaced old torque rpms with the new packages in /tftpboot/oscar/fc-4-x86_64 manualy, since already ran the install_cluster script.
4. Only ganglia-web-3.0.2-1.noarch.rpm has been installed which gave an error message.
5. Created directory packages/ganglia/distro/fc-x86_64 and copied all missing ganglia rpms in there from
packages/ganglia/distro/fc3-x86_64
5. Copied ganglia packages to /tftpboot/oscar/fc-4-x86_64 manualy, since already ran the install_cluster script.

You may open http://142.204.189.53/ganglia/

Next I will proceed with client image build (step 4).

Thank you for your help.

Olga
