Perhaps instead of overwriting the configuration it appended to it?  Is
that what you're seeing?

I am not familiar with Maui, but since I built it and am maintaining the
RPMs, I'll take a look at the spec file to see if something strange
happened.

Perhaps it would help if you check whether the older Maui RPMs had that
info hardcoded there too?
