Some issues trying to upgrade to latest version of oscar.
FYI: I won't be updating my systems again for a LONG time, but did feel it was
important to update from FC5 release to the current stuff (just so you don't
worry I'm going to be mailing every second day wondering why stuff isn't
working after updating my systems.)
Any, in prep for the upgrade, here's what I did":
* updated my local repo per Erich's instructions to latest rpms of FC5, then
updated my system -- the system itself seems fine
* renamed my opt/oscar and tftp/oscar distro folders (to make sure I use fresh
files only)
* downloaded the nightly build files: 5.0a1r5048-20060626
* upacked opt/oscar, and the tftp/oscar distro files
* reprepared my repos: "yume --prepare"
* did another "yume update" (to update from the new oscar repos)
Here is the error from that:
