Paul,
I had started to put together a RHEL4U4 recipe for ia64 for
OSCAR5, however I hit some problems with a few packages and had to stop
due to other projects. I will go back and see if I can find my error
logs.
Regards,
Christopher

Subject: [Oscar-devel] Itanium rpms for 5.0 ?
hello,
i am trying to install oscar 5.0 on itanium servers.
The OS would be RHEL-AS 4U4, but i can change.
As long as i have the required packages to operate the itanium as
compute nodes from a x86_64 master node it is enough for me.
I haven't found information and RPMs to do so.
I tried to recompile the RPMs from SRPMS but still have some problems
with some packages, and the "build image" step is crashing.
I am using rpmbuild --rebuild to rebuild the packages but i found
problems with mandriva specific flags in the specs files, (has to
install the src packages, edit the spec file and rebuild) so there's
probably a smart way to do that.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
thanks, paul.
