Allan,

I do not work with branch-5-1 but I included the two files and fixed the
problem with SwitcherAPI into trunk (therefore for oscar-5.2). I will also
create the repository for the binary packages very soon.

Thanks again for everything.

PS: about ./build_all_rpms, things will be slightly different with oscar-5.2
since it will support both Debian and RPM based systems. I am currently
developing a new tool (oscar-packager) that will do the same than the scripts
you are used to use but which will hide the differences between Debs and RPMs,
abstracting the differences. The tool is still limited and currently only works
for OSCAR core.

Hi Geoffrey,
./build_all_rpms does not create all the rpms. Also I do not have access to the
trac ticket system and do not know how to use it.
Also maybe this will help for now c3-4 , env-switcher and sync_files have to be
manually installed including the systemimager systeminstaller.
Also there is this bug of do_select() coming up as an undefined subroutine in
fc10.
ndefined subroutine &OSCAR::SwitcherAPI.pm::do_select() called at
/opt/oscar/lib/OSCAR//SwitcherAPI.pm line 100.
Also I have attached file fc10.tar which includes the new fc-10-x86_64.xml file
with some packages removed and fc-10-x86_64.rpmlist
Thanks for OSCAR and glad to help!

Hi,

That sounds fantastic. If some issues need to be fixed, feel free to create a
new ticket (do you have access to the trac ticket system?).
BTW, as soon as 5.2 will be more stable, i will create a repo for FC10, based
on your RPMs.

Thanks again for everything.

Geoffroy

Hi All,
I just started over again with./start_over and it works! I now have a
fc10 cluster. But you have to manually install sc3 and sync_files and c3
and env-switcer I also removed torque from the fc-10-x86_64.xml file
and Step 7 "Complete Cluster" works to completion. Also for step 8 for
fc10 one has to yum install xterm as xterm does not seem to be in fc10
x86_64 and just one test maui fails everything else okay I can ssh to
root or non root to any node!
Cheers,
Allan Menezes

Hi all,
I have got the fc10 x86_64 cluster up but i cannot seem to ssh to
client nodes without a password as an ordinary user say allan but i can
ssh to any node without a password as root!
Any help would be appreciated. The complete cluster fails if sc3 is not
manually installed on the head node including c3 and env-switcher and
even otherwise as torque and pbs do not seem to work.
It Comes up on step 7 complete cluster the message:
U
BEst wishes.

Hi all,

This is a very good news!!! Thanks a lot for your contribution!
Can you tell me if you did the work using trunk (
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/browser/trunk ) or the branch
for 5.1 (
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/browser/branches/branch-5-1 )?
I guess this is with branch-5.1.

Thanks,

Objet: [Oscar-devel] Fedora Core 10 x86_64 OSCAR Support ready!

Hi All,
I have successfully with the svn trunk version of Oscar 5.1 Nov 26
2008 built the common-rpms and fc-10-x86_64 rpms for fedora core 10
x86_64 and put the under "fc-10-x86_64-common-rpms" and "fc-10-x86_64"
sub directories at : https://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/svn/oscar/tmp/rpms/
I was successfully able to install gui server image client image and
network UYOK etc and image a client node with modifications to the
client image ./etc/systemconfig/systemconfig.conf to include
DEFAULTBOOT and BOOT and KERNEL0
AS PER THIS ON YOUR SITE: http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL
PROTECTED]/msg04680.html Please find attached the fc-10-x86_64.rpmlist and
fc-10-x86_64.xml files
Cheers!
And OSCAR ON!
Allan Menezes
