This is most likely due to the fact that you have a Pentium II server, so
the image was optimized for i686.  The 166 machines are probabably Pentium I
(i586).

I would removed all i686 rpms from /tftpboot/rpm and try again.

As far as mixed harddrives, an image is specific to either ide or scsi at
the moment.  However, as long as the drives are > 1 G, they will work, as
the / partition will grow to the size of the disk.
