Hi all,

We have installed Redhat 7.2 in our Server and we are using
  Oscar Version 1.3

  We succesfully prepared the server.

To get the clients added we tried the following..
[1] We tried to Network boot the clients.
But for the above 3Com Network card the network boot does not work.
[2] We prepared a boot image for the client in a floppy disk
Using the boot image prepared by the server we tried booting the
      clients.
That too failed for the above 3COM card.

The above boot image works perfectly well for the 10/100 PCI
  3Com 920-BRO5.

  The questions are...
[1] Is there any soultions to get the 3Com 10/100/1000 Mbps 3C996B-T
Network Card working and make the clients added to the cluster.
[2] If we get the clients added, as nodes to the cluster,
using the 3Com 10/100 Mbs 920-BRO5 could we change the network card
      subsequently to 3Com 10/100/1000 Mbps 3C996B-T ?
Is the MAC address only used to identify the individual cluster
nodes during the uploading of the OS image or is this information
also used after the OSCAR installation has been completed?
In other words, if we change the network card in one of the clients
(for whatever reason), do we need to modify anything on the server?
      If so, what exactly?

Any help will be highly appreciated..

Thanks,

A. Selvan
