Alexander-
Are you talking about when you ssh to your cluster from an external client, or ssh'ing within your cluster?
thx-

Jeremy

Hi

I get "No value for $TERM and no -T specified" error message
on a 7 node oscar installed cluster, while ssh request
to any of the nodes or server, like:

ssh -n my-server.mit.edu date
No value for $TERM and no -T specified
No value for $TERM and no -T specified
Mon Jan 13 18:06:01 EST 2003

Is there a way to avoid the message? The message does not
look to signify any problem whatsoever, since
all the ssh requests are getting completed successfully.

Also,
        env | grep TERM
gives everywhere:
        TERM=xterm

Thanks.
