dear Sir,
currently i'm using redhat 7.3 with oscar 2.1 on LAN which is don't have dedicated line. we are using dial-up line along with modem.
i've 2 problem here when configuring oscar 2.1 which is:
1) my ntp syncronizing not work very well.despite of using public NTP servers which is by default, i'm using local timing pointing to my own oscar server. I already check in /etc/ntp.conf and /etc/ntp/step-tickers, there look fine to me. i cannot figure out why my server can't do time synchronization but the ntp daemon start and restart well.
2) From the problem in no 1) above, i assume my NTP work well since it can start/stop well, so i proceed my oscar configuration until step 7. it stop at PBS setting and i have look into the log file but i can't manage to find the problem is.
here i attach my oscarinstall.log file for you to look at. i've cut it short to where the problem occur.
