It sounds like PVM is not in your path.

It sounds like lamb is not in your path, either.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] jobs]# echo $PATH

/usr/local/sbin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/local/bin:/opt/env-switcher/bin:/opt/lam-6.5.9/bin:/opt/kernel_picker/bin:/opt/pbs/bin:/opt/pbs/lib/xpbs/bin:/opt/pvm3/lib:/opt/pvm3/lib/LINUX:/opt/pvm3/bin/LINUX:/opt/c3-3:/root/bin

both PVM and LAM are specified in the PATH on the head node and on
node1
but not on node2

Sounds like you are having path problems. To confirm, what is
the output of "which lamboot" on your head node and on one of
your client nodes?

-->

You are right...pvm and lam are missing in node2's PATH...while
node1 seems to be fine.

Does this mean that node2 hasnt been added properly?

Note : With Head node + Node1 in cluster, all tests are
suucessful
       but when i add node2, lam and pvm tests fail.

Will making changes to the node2 PATH help?

Head Node :

[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# which lamboot
/opt/lam-6.5.9/bin/lamboot

Node1 :

[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# which lamboot
/opt/lam-6.5.9/bin/lamboot

Node 2 :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]which lamboot
/usr/bin/which : no lamboot in
(/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/root/bin)

Also, what's the output of "module list" and "module avail" on
your headnode and any one of your client nodes?

-->

Again, here node2 shows blank output for these commands while the
headnode and node1 are fine.

3)

Do you get any warnings or errors when you ssh to one of your
client
nodes?

--> No, there are no errors or warnings reported while sshing to the client nodes.

Pls suggest.

Thx in advance,
