Okay so I got past the invalid mpi tag bit but now I have another problem... in the oscarinstall.log, I see:

awk: cmd. line:2: fatal: cannot open file `/etc/fstab' for reading (No such file or directory)
ls: readlink:: No such file or directory
ls: file: No such file or directory

This happens while I was building a new image - the image was still created without any 'problems'.

So I network booted these nodes, and SIS bailed out complaining about "hda driver not found". I don't quite understand what this means because these new nodes have SCSI HDs, and it was clearly specified in my partition file and I also noted the SIS script is correct (says sda as opposed to hda).

Can someone shed some light into this?

The Oscar server uses IDE HDs and is currently the head node for 13 blade center blades (all have IDE HDs), I'm trying to add a couple dozen more SCSI HD based nodes to it.

Thanks,

Bernard
