hi all,

I'm in the process of changing the name of an oscar cluster. Both the
name of the master node and the name and domain of all of the compute
nodes have been changed. Also, the IP address of the master node has
been changed as part of this process. I have searched through the
different config files for each of the programs and have made changes to
reflect the new names, however, clicking on 'complete cluster setup'
fails.

I have ironed out most of the errors, but I cannot find a way to fix the
last remaining error. This error comes from the pbs post_install script
and has the form:

Error marking node perchX.emineralsCluster2 - Unauthorized Request
qmgr obj=perchX.emineralsCluster2 svr=default: Unauthorized Request
set node perchX.emineralsCluster2 np = 1
Error marking node perchX.emineralsCluster2 - Unauthorized Request

where X is the number relating to each one of the client nodes in the
cluster.

Also, running pbsnodes leads to a similar error:

root]# pbsnodes
Error marking node perchX.emineralsCluster2 - Unauthorized Request

Does anybody know what is causing this error or what I can do to prevent
it from occuring.

Thanks for your time and help,

Richard
